The Woodlands Waterway®

The Woodlands Waterway® is the signature feature of Town Center, offering a scenic setting for shopping, dining, entertainment and community events. Stretching nearly 1.8 miles, The Waterway connects The Woodlands Mall, Market Street, Waterway Square and Hughes Landing with a blend of natural beauty and urban design.

Originally developed as part of The Woodlands’ master plan, The Waterway was formally conveyed to The Woodlands Township, which now owns and manages this important community asset. Today, the Township oversees its maintenance, enhancements and event programming to ensure it continues to be a place where residents and visitors can gather and celebrate.

During the holiday season, The Waterway transforms into a glowing backdrop for Holiday on The Waterway, creating a one-of-a-kind setting for lights, photos and family traditions.
